Senior Accountant – Full Time


Field Agent is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing company. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.



  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses using NetSuite, Excel, and Tableau while reviewing transactions for accuracy and completeness
  • Review the P&L and balance sheet for accuracy and completeness
  • Own the month-end and year-end accounting close process, including journal entry preparation and posting
  • Assist executive leadership with financial decision-making
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and assist in collection activities for problem accounts
  • Prepare bank and monthly reconciliations of all general ledger balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly bank and investor financial reporting packages
  • Review and approve payroll and manage all payroll reporting
  • Manage company line of credit and comply with debt facility regulations
  • Coordinate and oversee annual expense budget process
  • Research monthly variances for current and prior periods to discover trends and confront potential issues
  • Serve as principal liaison for annual external financial, bank, and 401K audits as well as tax preparers
  • Prepare franchise taxes, property taxes, 5500 reports, and oversee year-end 1099s
  • Interact with all departments and financial analyst to determine the business impact of transactions
  • Assist Senior Director of Finance with financial analyses and pertinent financial reporting
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and security



  • Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and variance analysis
  • Strong knowledge of accounting regulations
  • Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
  • Time-management abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or comparable experience
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality with personal or sensitive financial information
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Excellent team player that possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
